The actress honored Perry's memory with archival footage and a brief caption.
"1 year," Aniston noted, adding a broken heart and dove emoji. She also shared a series of photos taken during the filming of the iconic series. The images featured other actors from the beloved show, including Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, and Matt LeBlanc.

In the post, they tagged the Matthew Perry Foundation, which was established to continue the work the actor started, specifically to help people facing addiction.

What is known about Matthew Perry's death
The actor was found dead in his own hot tub at the age of 54. An autopsy revealed that the cause of death was related to the use of certain substances, including ketamine, which Perry had taken the day before. This led to heart complications.
Additionally, the autopsy concluded that the amount of ketamine in his system did not exceed the permissible limit, but the consequences were tragic.
Perry was buried on November 3 at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The farewell was attended by his fellow stars and close friends, totaling no more than 20 people.

Despite his immense global popularity, Matthew faced a difficult life, battling alcohol and drug addictions.
He candidly shared his experiences in his memoir, published in 2022. In the book, he reflected on his childhood and youth, detailing his adult life, relationships, filming Friends, and how, in 2019, he found himself on the brink of life and death. At that time, he was hospitalized and spent two weeks in a coma, with doctors giving him only a 2% chance of survival.
After being discharged from the hospital, he expressed his desire to help others who, like him, faced addiction.
