'Reality speaks louder than words': Zelenskyy reacts to night strikes on Kharkiv
As a result of the fire caused by Russian aggression in Kharkiv, an entire family, including three children, tragically perished, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote on Telegram.
"Reality always speaks louder than any words. Last night, due to the fire after the Shahed drones attack in Kharkiv, an entire family perished: parents and three children," the president wrote.
As noted by Zelenskyy, among the deceased children were:
- Oleksiy, 7 years old;
- Mykhailo, 4 years old;
- Pavlo, 7 months old.
"Children who didn't get to experience life and were killed due to Russian madness. Another family perished: husband and wife. My condolences to all their relatives and loved ones," added the president.
According to Zelenskyy, the rescue operation in Kharkiv is ongoing. Four people, including one child, have been rescued, and dozens have been evacuated. All the victims will receive the necessary assistance.
"I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine and Ukrainians in defending against Russian terror. Every show of support is critically important. It's equally important to understand that terror cannot go unpunished. Terror cannot go unanswered. Terrorists must lose this war they started. Russia must be held accountable for every life it ruins and destroys. Only then will security for all become a part of reality," added Zelenskyy.
