Russia has already begun discussing the need to prepare for soldiers returning from the front and for their employment after the war ends, Russian leader Vladimir Putin said during a meeting of the Council for Strategic Development and National Projects.
During the meeting, the Russian president raised the issue of soldiers returning from the front after the hostilities end.
"There is another issue. The return of our men from the line of contact after the end of the special military operation," he said.
Putin noted that many servicemen would return to Russia after the war ends. According to him, the authorities will need to think ahead about providing them with jobs.
"Many people will return, they will need to be employed, and they will come back with healthy ambitions and so on. This is serious work that we need to prepare for in advance," he said.
At the same time, Putin stated that resolving issues related to the so-called special military operation, as well as supporting the families of servicemen and war participants, remain among the key tasks.
Earlier, Ukrainian military intelligence representative Vadym Skibitskyi said that Russia is considering the possibility of going to war with NATO countries by 2030.
At the same time, intelligence officials emphasize that Moscow is already conducting hybrid operations against NATO countries, including through the use of unidentified drones.
