Putin's interview only reinforces Germany's support for Ukraine, Scholz says
For Germany, the inclination towards Ukraine became even more evident after Russian dictator Vladimir Putin made scandalous statements in a new interview, said German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on X.
"Russian President mocks what Russia is actually doing in Ukraine and provides absolutely absurd justifications for this war. For us, it's even more obvious: we, as before, are on Ukraine's side," emphasized Scholz.
Putin's interview
Today, February 9, an interview of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin with American propagandist Tucker Carlson was published online.
In the interview, the Russian dictator made a series of scandalous statements and once again attempted to justify his full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
The Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine stated that such an interview could not have been anything but a special operation.
One of Putin's most scandalous statements was an accusation against Poland, claiming it was responsible for the start of World War II. The Kremlin leader fantasized that Warsaw provoked Nazi German leader Adolf Hitler because "it turned out to be uncooperative."
Poland has already reacted to these accusations. Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski stated that he was shocked by the transmission of Russian propaganda by an American journalist.
