Russian President Vladimir Putin will not receive an invitation to the G20 summit, which will take place in Manchester in November 2027, according to UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham.
The Russian President's attendance at the summit is ruled out due to the sanctions currently in place against the Kremlin.
At the same time, only lower-ranking officials will be able to represent Russia at the international meeting.
Burnham also confirms that the United Kingdom will provide military and financial aid to Ukraine until the war with Russia ends.
In addition, London is prepared to send its troops to join the peacekeeping forces if an agreement to end the war is reached.
Unlike Russia, the British government is eager to welcome Chinese President Xi Jinping to the summit.
It is expected that economic cooperation and Manchester's development could serve as a model for new relations between countries.
The main topic of the 2027 G20 summit will be the development of a global set of standards for artificial intelligence. The United Kingdom plans to act as an independent mediator on this issue between the US and China.

Andy Burnham became Prime Minister of the United Kingdom in July.
Hosting the G20 summit in Manchester will be a key test of his international strategy, which the politician calls autumn diplomacy.
As part of this new course, the British government also plans to revitalize relations with the EU, the Middle East, and the Commonwealth of Nations.
Ukraine has not yet received an official invitation to participate in the G20 summit, which will take place next month.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy previously commented on participation in the G20 summit, noting that there were certain signals.
At the same time, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke out in defense of Washington's decision to invite Russia to participate in the G20 summit.
According to him, the United States must maintain contact with Moscow, as it is impossible to reach a peace agreement without it.
