PSG captain gives his medal to Ukrainian Zabarnyi right after Super Cup final

Paris Saint-Germain won the UEFA Super Cup, and after the final whistle, the team's captain, Marquinhos, impressed with his gesture toward Ukrainian defender Illia Zabarnyi.
In the UEFA Super Cup match, the French PSG defeated the English Tottenham in a penalty shootout. The trophy is traditionally contested between the Champions League winner and the Europa League winner of the previous season.
New PSG signing Illia Zabarnyi did not take the field that evening. The club did not manage to include him in the match squad in time, so under the regulations, he could not receive a medal.
However, during the victory celebrations on the pitch, an emotional scene unfolded. PSG captain Marquinhos approached the Ukrainian and personally placed his winner's medal around Zabarnyi's neck. This gesture of support immediately caught the cameras' attention and sparked a wave of discussion among fans.
Zabarnyi also had the chance to lift the UEFA Super Cup above his head alongside his teammates, taking memorable photos with the trophy.
The 21-year-old defender could make his debut for his new team as early as next Sunday, August 17, in the first round of Ligue 1 against Nantes
