There will be an attack on the unrecognized Transnistria if Moldovan President Maia Sandu remains in power, said Igor Dodon, leader of the country's pro-Russian Socialist Party.

"If PAS (Sandu's Party of Action and Solidarity – ed.) remains in power, we will all be used as cannon fodder," Dodon said.

In his opinion, the Sorosists will force the President of Moldova, together with Zelenskyy, "to attack Transnistria and open a second front there–in support of Ukraine and against Russia."

Dodon also stated that such a scenario was already attempted in Georgia, but unsuccessfully, and now, according to him, it is Moldova's turn.

In addition, the leader of the pro-Russian Socialist Party said that in the event of his political force's victory in the elections, Russia would not intervene in Moldova.

"If Dodon is pro-Russian, as the yellows claim, then why would the Russians attack their own? We did not buy the radars that now catch flies. We did not start building a military base in Băcioi. We did not bring in Piranha armored vehicles, and we do not organize NATO exercises every six months. All this was done and is being done by Maia Sandu," his statement reads.

As is known, parliamentary elections in Moldova will take place on Sunday, September 28.

Russia intends to disrupt Moldova's course toward European integration. Back in the spring, the Kremlin approved a strategy aimed at reducing the chances of Maia Sandu's party winning the parliamentary elections.

Additionally, Maia Sandu reported that Russia is preparing for "unprecedented interference" in Moldova's upcoming parliamentary elections. She stated that the aggressor country plans to direct 100 million euros in cryptocurrency to bribe voters. For such activities, law enforcement has already imposed 25,000 fines.

The Association of Ukrainians in Moldova filed a complaint against Igor Dodon with the prosecutor's office. They demand that he be punished for indirectly calling on Russians to invade the country's territory.
