The outfit, which included a white blazer with a cape, a black shirt with an open collar, and trousers, was designed by the Ukrainian brand Damirli and its designer, Elvira Hasanova.
In a social media post, the creators explained the meaning behind each element of the look. The white blazer symbolizes light and purity of intent, guiding one through darkness. The hat represents a connection to ancestors and to the land, which grounds us during turbulent times.
"This is the voice of the Cossack in the modern heart. This look is about rebirth. About the new Ukraine rising after pain, without forgetting its roots," the brand explained.
Usyk's fashion choice is more than just clothing, but a sign of respect for Ukrainian history and culture.
"He is like our warriors: modern, direct, looking toward the future, but with a soul that carries centuries of strength," the creators noted.
"Every line, every gleam is a reminder of who we are. We are Ukrainians. Unbreakable not only in battle, but in spirit. And we are already winning," they added.
Usyk will face off against British boxer Dubois in a unification bout on Saturday, July 19.
The match will take place at Wembley Stadium in London, and it will kick off with the undercard around 7:00 PM Kyiv time. The main event is scheduled for 11:30 PM.
The winner will be recognized as the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.
