The world heavyweight boxing champion under the WBC, WBA, and WBO versions, Oleksandr Usyk, has openly spoken about his main dreams, as reported by DAZN Boxing.

To stop the war right now

"Now, my dream is to stop the war in my country. And my dream for the future is peace in the world," Usyk shared, barely holding back his emotions.

Why do you live if you don't smile?

Usyk also admitted that he is concerned about the psychological state of modern society. People stop enjoying life, lose meaning in everyday routines, and live without inner light.

"People are crazy. People don't smile every day. They wake up and think: 'I have to go to work. I don't like this work.' Why? You go to work every day, but you don't like this? Why do you live? Why do you build such a life?"

Instead, the Ukrainian boxer called on everyone to enjoy the moment more, appreciate life, and be grateful.

"But if you love the world, you have to smile, dance, work, grow, create something, and travel. This is life. Life is great," Usyk emphasized.

Message before the big fight

These words were spoken by the Ukrainian champion on the eve of his rematch against Briton Daniel Dubois, which will take place on July 19 at Wembley Stadium in London. At stake is the title of undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.

As of now, Usyk remains undefeated in his professional career (23 wins, 14 by knockout) and is one of the most well-known Ukrainians in the world of sports.
