Actions of the Defence Forces and HUR
The Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (HUR) reported that the special Artan unit is taking part in battles for the settlement and is disrupting enemy attempts to penetrate urban areas.
According to intelligence, Russian groups tried to enter the southern part of the city in small numbers, but were stopped during a series of assault operations carried out in coordination with other units.
Disruption of attacks and stabilisation of the situation
HUR noted that during urban combat, Russian units were pushed out of designated areas.
Ukrainian forces used aerial reconnaissance and precise fire strikes, checking buildings for enemy presence and potential explosive "surprises."
The commander of the Artan unit reported that the operations were well-coordinated and that Ukrainian troops are ready for renewed enemy attempts to return to the city.
According to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, fighting continues in certain sections of the front, and the operation to eliminate Russian forces is ongoing.
Head of the Presidential Office Kyrylo Budanov stated that Ukraine will respond to all violations and "excesses" that arise during mobilization using all available mechanisms, while emphasizing that mobilization measures in the country must continue.
