The United States continues to provide aid to Ukraine, but nothing has been stopped. At the same time, nothing new has been announced, according to the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

“Right now, aid is coming. But it must be fairly said that this aid is old, from past times. We are grateful that it has not been stopped, but due to the slowdown in supplies, it is still arriving,” Zelenskyy said.

According to the president, another $15 billion is “on the way.” In particular, these funds have gone into weapons and various technical means. Therefore, aid from the United States has not stopped. However, new aid is linked to the agreement on minerals.

“Nothing has been stopped, but nothing new has been announced. And for something new to come, as I understand the logic of this agreement (on minerals – ed.), it is necessary to understand how you will give back the new. I react this way to old debts if this concerns the new. We are ready to discuss the format of what we receive and how we give it back. We are ready to discuss this in this agreement,” the head of state added.

During this press conference, Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that he would not sign an agreement with the United States (on minerals), under the terms of which ten generations of Ukrainians would repay the debt. In this regard, a dialogue with US President Donald Trump is necessary.

He also stated that he is ready to leave the country's presidency in exchange for peace for Ukraine or the country’s accession to NATO.
