Powerful explosion rocks Iranian port: Over 400 injured

A powerful explosion occurred in the south of Iran at the Shahid Rajaee port. More than 400 people were injured, Mehr News reports.
In the Hormozgan province in the south of Iran, a powerful explosion occurred on Saturday afternoon, resulting in casualties and injuries.
The incident happened around 12:30 local time at the Shahid Rajaee port. Rapid response teams promptly arrived at the scene.
According to preliminary data, the explosion occurred in an administrative building. Sources report that the cause could have been the detonation of a fuel tank, however, the official version has not yet been confirmed.
Due to the explosion, the port's operations have been suspended so that rescue and security services could take control of the situation.
