Power station damaged due to drone attack in Oryol region, Russia
In a district of the Oryol region of Russia, a local power station was damaged as a result of a drone attack, according to Oryol region Governor Andrey Klychkov.
According to him, two drones were shot down over the Glazunovsky district during the night. There were no casualties, but damage to the local power station has been recorded.
"Emergency services are addressing the aftermath of the air attack, and law enforcement agencies are on the scene," Klychkov wrote.
A video of the drone attack in the Orlovskaya region from last night has surfaced online.
Drone attacks on Russia
On the evening of July 28, drones carried out a large-scale attack on the Kursk region, in Russia. Air defense systems were activated, and explosions were reported. Local sources mention damage to a substation.
Drones also attacked the Kursk region the previous night, setting fire to an oil depot in the village of Polevaya.
The Ukrainian General Staff confirmed that the attack was carried out by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
