Possible second attempt on Trump: Suspect is in federal court
The suspect in the alleged attempt to assassinate former President Donald Trump, Ryan Routh, is in federal court. The prosecution has not yet announced any charges, according to CNN.
The agency notes that while in federal court, Routh "is wearing dark prison scrubs, and his feet and hands are shackled". He will appear before Magistrate Judge Ryon M. McCabe.

Shooting near Trump
The suspect was detained yesterday after being stopped on the highway following the shooting.
RBC-Ukraine reported that on September 15, a potential second attempt on Trump occurred in the US.
According to the Secret Service, they fired upon an armed man near the golf club where the former president was present.
After the arrest, it was revealed that the individual was US citizen Ryan Wesley Routh. Although the shooting was initially not linked to Trump, the Federal Bureau of Investigation described the incident as "what appears to be an attempted assassination."
