In Poltava, the death toll has risen to 56 following the massive Russian shelling on September 3. One more person has died in the hospital, according to Poltava City Council Secretary Kateryna Yamshchykova and Telegram of the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Filip Pronin.

"In Poltava's hospital, another person has died as a result of the missile strike on the Communication Institute on September 3," she said.

According to official data, 56 people have been killed and 328 injured.

Death toll rises to 58

Later, it was reported that two more people, injured in the Russian strike on Poltava on September 3, had died in hospital.

"The number of fatalities has increased to 58," said the head of the regional military administration, Filip Pronin.

Russian forces attacked Poltava with ballistic missiles on September 3. The strike partially destroyed one of the buildings at the Communication Institute.
