Polish Foreign Minister announces key talks on Ukraine war
Warsaw will host talks next week on Russia’s war against Ukraine. Poland has announced a meeting in the Weimar Triangle+ format, according to Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski quoted by RMF24.
Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski announced that the Weimar Triangle+ meeting will take place on Tuesday, 19 November.
He specified that, in addition to the foreign ministers of France, Poland, and Germany, representatives of other key European countries are expected to attend. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha and the EU's new chief diplomat, Kaja Kallas, have also been invited.
"As we can see, the most important talks on this crisis will take place in Warsaw," Sikorski stated.
It is worth recalling that the Polish Foreign Minister earlier announced an upcoming EU Council meeting next week. According to him, "major decisions" regarding frozen Russian assets are expected.
The next European Council meeting on foreign affairs is scheduled for 19 November and will focus on defense and EU support for Ukraine.
