Polish FM says when he hopes to see Ukraine in EU
Ukraine must win the war and become a member of the European Union by the end of the decade, says Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, during a joint briefing with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba.
As Sikorski noted, no country has the right to attack its neighbors. Poland unequivocally stands on the side of the victim, and Warsaw's strategy regarding Ukraine remains unchanged.
"Russia should lose and Ukraine should win. At the end of the decade, we want Ukraine to be a member of the European Union within its internationally recognized borders and an important partner of Poland, already as a member of the same European family," the minister emphasized.
