Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz reacted to the massive attack on Ukraine, saying that Russia had made up for its losses suffered at the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

"Russia is conducting a very massive attack, and they have prepared for it. They have compensated for the losses they suffered at the beginning of the war, which was two years ago, they have switched their production to a military mode, they have allies like North Korea who supply them with a huge amount of ammunition," he said.

The minister added that most of the Russian missiles are flying toward Poland.

"Since early morning, an air alert has been declared throughout Ukraine. This is repeated cyclically, unfortunately, once a week, once every 10 days. These attacks are massive. And most of the missiles are flying west, towards Poland," he said.

Kosiniak-Kamysz added that all the country's security systems are on full alert.

"Of course, they are maneuvering, their goal is Ukrainian territory. But as of today, this morning, all security systems in Poland are on full combat alert," the defense minister said.

Massive attack

This morning, Russians fired missiles at Ukraine from strategic aviation. Our air defense system shot down 44 enemy targets, including 15 drones that the invaders launched in the evening.

Against the backdrop of the missile attack, Poland was sending up aircraft, and the spokesperson for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yurii Ihnat, noted that the missiles were maneuvering in the western regions of Ukraine, including towards the Polish border.

In Kyiv, explosions were heard in the morning, the city was attacked by missiles. A high-rise building caught fire in the Holosiivskyi district, and power grids were damaged on the left bank.
