Polish anti-drone units will train at a NATO center in Poland using methods developed by Ukrainian operators. The goal is to improve their ability to counter Russian attacks, reports The Guardian, citing Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski.

Sikorski said Polish anti-drone teams will learn directly from Ukrainian operators to better defend against future threats.

"The Ukrainians have better equipment for dealing with Russian drones, and they have much deeper and more up-to-date experience of resisting the Russian army," Sikorski said.

He stressed that the West should recognize that Ukrainian specialists will train Polish units to face Russia, not the other way around.

The training will take place at the NATO center in Poland, where conditions are safer than in Ukraine.

Yesterday, Romania also reported a drone incursion into its airspace.

The Romanian Ministry of Defense said a drone violated Romanian airspace during a Russian attack on infrastructure in Ukraine. Two F-16 fighter jets were scrambled to monitor the situation.

On the evening of September 13, Romania and Poland declared an air alert due to the threat of Russian attack drones. The unmanned aircraft entered the airspace of both NATO countries.

The Romanian Air Force intercepted a Russian drone in the country's national airspace. Two F-16 fighter jets escorted the drone for roughly 20 kilometers.
