Today, a passenger plane crashed in Kazakhstan. Traces of possible ground fire were found on its fuselage, according to Agentstvo.Novosti.

The Russian media refers to the Fighterbomber Telegram channel, which published a video of the wreckage of an Embraer 190 plane belonging to Azerbaijan Airlines.

The video shows the tail section of the aircraft, with marks on the fuselage resembling traces of impact elements. The channel's author suggested that the cause of the crash might not have been a bird strike, as the current official version states.

It was also reported earlier that several drones were shot down in Chechnya, where the plane was scheduled to land today.

One of the survivors of the crash, Subkhonkul Rakhimov, shared that the pilots attempted to land the plane in Grozny three times.

"On the third attempt, something exploded. There was an explosion — I wouldn’t say it happened inside the plane. Where I was sitting, the fuselage nearby was torn off," he said.

It was reported earlier that a passenger plane traveling from Baku to Grozny crashed today in Aktau. The plane was originally scheduled to land in Grozny. However, the airport reported that the aircraft was unable to land due to fog.

According to some reports, the airport might have been closed due to a UAV attack. An opposition Chechen Telegram channel, NIYSO, reported that drones attacked the region around the time of the planned landing.

A Telegram channel close to the security forces, Baza, stated that a "Carpet plan" was announced at Grozny airport, meaning that the airport was closed for aircraft landings.

Details about the plane crash can be found in the RBC-Ukraine report.
