Passenger plane from Baku to Grozny crashes in Kazakhstan(Video)
A passenger plane crashed near Aktau (Kazakhstan). It was flying from Baku to Grozny, according to Tengri News.
"Near Aktau, a plane crashed, which was presumably flying from Baku to Grozny," the journalists write.
Additionally, the moment of the crash was captured on video. According to media reports, it is known that an emergency signal was sent from the aircraft.
"52 personnel and 11 units of equipment from Kazakhstan's Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the crash site. Preliminary reports indicate there are survivors," Tengri News adds.
Meanwhile, Azerbaijani media reported that the preliminary cause of the tragedy was the aircraft's collision with birds.

Despite the plane crash, 28 people on board managed to survive. Two of them are children. Two girls, aged 11 and 16, who were passengers on the crashed plane, were taken to the hospital.
There were 67 people on board, including 62 passengers and 5 crew members. According to preliminary information, 37 of them were citizens of Azerbaijan, 16 were citizens of Russia, 6 were citizens of Kazakhstan, and 3 were citizens of Kyrgyzstan.

In November, a DHL cargo plane, B737-400, crashed near Vilnius Airport. The aircraft fell on a two-story residential building, and one fatality was reported as a result of the incident.
Additionally, as previously reported, a Russian light multi-purpose aircraft, An-3 AK Borus, crashed in Yakutia in the Olekminsky District. One passenger died in the incident.
