People worldwide rate US, EU, NATO support for Ukraine: Too little, enough or too much
About a third (34%) of people in 52 countries believe that the US, EU, and NATO have not done enough to help Ukraine amid the Russian invasion, according to the Democracy Perception Index 2024.
At the same time, half of the respondents say that the US, EU, and NATO have done enough to help Ukraine (46%), while 19% believe they have done too much.
According to the study, the feeling that too little has been done to help Ukraine is decreasing, while the share of those who say that too much has been done is increasing.
This aid fatigue is particularly prevalent in Germany, where 40% of respondents now say that too much has been done to help Ukraine, the highest of any country surveyed. It is followed by China (37%), Austria (37%), and Hungary (31%).

The survey was conducted in 53 countries among 63 thousand respondents.
According to the KIIS survey, in February 2024, 49% of Ukrainians said that the West kept supporting Ukraine. However, 44% believed that the West was tired of Ukraine and its support was weak.
