Donald Trump is demanding trillions of dollars from Gulf Arab states — depending on whether they want the war with Iran to continue or end, Nabd reported, citing Omani journalist Salem Al-Jahuri.

The US president reportedly gave Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries two options:
- $5 trillion if they want the war with Iran to continue
- $2.5 trillion if they want it to stop
The same day, Trump stressed that the operation’s goal is not regime change in Iran. He said the US is acting with allies to achieve security objectives without getting dragged into a prolonged conflict.
He also noted that joint US and Israeli military pressure has severely damaged Iran’s infrastructure, making its recovery extremely difficult.
Recently, the US lifted sanctions on Iranian oil temporarily, allowing the sale of about 140 million barrels already on tankers at sea.
The license is valid for one month — until April 19 — and applies only to oil loaded before March 20. New purchases or production are not allowed.
The US has also partially eased restrictions on Russian oil, citing the need to stabilize global supply.
