Overnight Shahed drone attack on Sumy: Police reveal aftermath of strike

In Sumy, due to a Russian drone attack last night, March 6, a warehouse facility on the outskirts of the city was hit. Law enforcement authorities released footage of the aftermath of the drone strike, which resulted in one dead victim, the National Police of Ukraine reports.
"At night, the Russians once again launched drone strikes on the regional center, one of which hit warehouse facilities on the outskirts of the city," the National Police stated.
Law enforcement authorities also informed that as a result of the enemy attack, a 32-year-old man, who was "likely working as a security guard," was killed.
The police added that all emergency services were working at the scene, and law enforcement officers documented the consequences of the strike and collected evidence.
On the evening before, an air raid alert was declared in several regions of Ukraine due to the threat of enemy kamikaze drone strikes.
In Sumy, a Russian Shahed UAV hit a warehouse, and a fire broke out due to the hit. Local authorities later clarified that one person was killed in the drone strike in Sumy.
In Kharkiv, amid the drone attack, a high-rise building was hit. Due to the enemy attack, the building suffered some damage, and a fire broke out, but was later extinguished. The evacuation of residents from the affected building is underway, and there have been reports of people in Kharkiv experiencing acute stress reactions.
