Consequences of drone strike on high-rise building in Kharkiv clarified, casualties reported

In Kharkiv, as a result of a nighttime drone attack, damage has been reported in a high-rise building, and residents are being evacuated. There are reports of casualties, some of whom are experiencing acute stress reactions, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov and Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
According to the mayor, the roof and technical floor of the high-rise building were damaged, and there was a small fire.
The elevator shaft, as well as parts of the technical floor and the facade tiles between the 9th and technical floors, were also destroyed.
"The glazing in nearby buildings and 8 cars were damaged. Evacuation of people from the entrance of the high-rise building is underway," said Terekhov.
The mayor also reported that there were two casualties, both experiencing acute stress reactions.
"All relevant services and volunteers are working at the scene," the mayor informed.
Meanwhile, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Syniehubov, stated that one woman was injured in Kharkiv due to the enemy attack, experiencing an acute stress reaction.
"At around 3:50 a.m. Kyiv time, as a result of debris from a Shahed UAV, the roof, elevator shaft, part of the technical floor, and the facade of a multi-story residential building in Kharkiv were damaged. A fire broke out," he reported.
The official added that 8 cars, glazing in 9 apartment buildings, and a nearby educational facility were also damaged.
"One woman was injured - acute stress reaction. As of now, the fire has been extinguished," stated the head of the Regional Military Administration.
Earlier, it was reported that on the night of March 6, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv using drones, striking a high-rise building.
