On January 14, Ukraine and Switzerland will hold the fourth meeting of national security advisors in Davos, where they will discuss the Ukrainian peace formula, according to the press service of the Swiss parliament.

"The aim of the conference, to be co-chaired by Federal Councillor Ignazio Cassis and the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, is to finalise the talks at the level of national security advisers on principles for a lasting and just peace in Ukraine. These principles should form the basis for the next stages of the peace process," the statement said.

It is noted that more than 80 delegations will participate in the discussions. Key principles of the peace formula have been discussed in ten working groups.

"Switzerland is participating in working groups on nuclear security, food security, and confirmation of the end of the war. Following the first three meetings in Copenhagen, Jeddah, and Malta, the results of the working groups' work and the next steps will be presented at the fourth meeting in Davos," the statement said.

Ukrainian peace formula

During his speech at the G20 summit in November 2022, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy proposed a peace formula to halt Russia's full-scale invasion.

Specifically, it includes:

  • radiation and nuclear safety (Russia's exit from the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone, renunciation of nuclear threats);
  • food security (expansion of the grain initiative);
  • energy security;
  • release of all prisoners and deportees (release based on the all-for-all formula);
  • compliance with the UN Charter and restoration of territorial integrity and the world order;
  • withdrawal of Russian troops and cessation of hostilities;
  • justice;
  • ecocide; the urgent need for environmental protection;
  • prevention of escalation;
  • fixation of the end of the war.
