Over 230,000 Russian losses in early 2025, says Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief

Ukrainian defenders have eliminated over 230,000 enemy troops — killed or wounded — in the first six months of 2025, according to General Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"In the first half of 2025, Ukraine's Defense Forces have already neutralized over 230,000 Russian troops," the general wrote.
He specified that during this period, Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 1,311 tanks and 2,885 armored combat vehicles belonging to Russian forces.
Syrskyi thanked Ukrainian male and female defenders for their effective work.

Earlier the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that on July 3, Ukrainian defenders eliminated 1,120 Russian soldiers.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russian losses have amounted to 1.024 million military personnel.
Additionally, today Ukrainian defenders also struck the command post of Russia's 8th Guards Combined Arms Army. Enemy losses are being clarified.
