A meeting of the drone coalition involving more than 20 countries will take place in The Hague. It will be dedicated to strengthening support for Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression, according to Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans.

The Minister stresses that drones and anti-drone systems are crucial for Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression.

"In The Hague, I am meeting with the Drone Capability Coalition, which brings together more than 20 countries to support Ukraine," Brekelmans explained.

According to him, he and his partners are preparing to invest significant funds in this industry.

"It strengthens Ukraine as well as our armed forces and industry," he concluded.

Drone production in Ukraine

Drone production is actively expanding in Ukraine: this summer, Frontline signed a strategic agreement with German-Ukrainian manufacturer Quantum Systems to scale up production and integrate into the European defense industry.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy previously emphasized that hundreds of thousands of interceptor drones are planned to be produced this year, contracting all available volumes of priority models.

International partners are already joining in the financing—in particular, Ghana has announced its readiness to support production for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

At the same time, earlier today, Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal invited New Zealand to join in the production of marine drones.
