Our resolve strengthens: Borrell reacts to massive shelling of Ukraine
The European Union's resolve in supporting Ukraine is only strengthened by the Russian Federation's mass terrorist attacks against the country, according to Josep Borrell, the EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs on X.
"Two years after Bucha was liberated, Russia is repeating massive attacks against civilians and Ukraine's energy infrastructure to undermine the economy and the resilience of the Ukrainian people. The EU's resolve to defend Ukraine will only become stronger," wrote Borrell.
Russian massive shelling
Almost daily, Russian forces strike Ukraine. The occupiers actively employ Grad rockets and, more recently, increasingly resort to mass rocket attacks on Ukraine.
As an example, on the night of March 22, terrorists launched a combined rocket-aircraft strike against Ukraine, employing 151 air attack means. During the attack, the Russians shelled energy facilities, resulting in emergency shutdowns in several cities.
That night, Russian terrorists attacked the Donetsk region with 4 guided missiles from the S-300/S-400 missile systems, as well as drones from Cape Chauda. In total, 12 Grads were launched. The air defense system destroyed 9 drones.
