Oscars 2025: Full list of winners at Hollywood’s most prestigious film awards

On the night of March 2 to 3, the 97th Academy Awards ceremony took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, USA. The coveted statuettes were awarded to actors, directors, films, and other representatives of the film industry.
RBC-Ukraine shares the winners' names in each category.
Mikey Madison won the prestigious statuette as the Best Actress in a Leading Role for her masterful performance in Anora. In the male category, the award for the Best Actor in a Leading Role went to Adrien Brody for his impressive portrayal of the protagonist in The Brutalist.
The highlight of the evening was the announcement of Anora as the Best Picture of the year.

Interesting facts about Oscars 2025
This year’s Oscars marked the return of musicals: for the first time in over 50 years, two musicals - Wicked and Emilia Pérez - were nominated for Best Picture.
For the first time in history, a body horror film - The Substance - was nominated for Best Picture, showcasing the expanding genre diversity of the awards.
Among the nominees for Best Actress were Fernanda Torres and Isabella Rossellini, following in the footsteps of their famous mothers, who had also been nominated in the past - Fernanda Montenegro and Ingrid Bergman, respectively.
For the first time since 1977, all Best Actress nominees starred in films that were also contenders for Best Picture.
The Brutalist used technology from the Ukrainian startup Respeecher to recreate Hungarian accents for its actors.
