Only Ukraine's accession to NATO can ensure world security

Only Ukraine's membership in NATO will provide Europe and the world with real opportunities to restore security, states Andriy Yermak, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
Yermak also thanked the countries that united in support of Ukraine after Russia's full-scale invasion and noted that this support should be maintained and continued.
One of the key topics discussed was the prospect of Ukraine receiving an invitation to begin membership negotiations with NATO at the summit in Washington this summer.
The head of the Office of the President emphasized the importance of this step for ensuring future stability and security, stating that the failure to invite Ukraine to the Washington summit, we believe, could indeed give impetus to a new escalation – in the Middle East, in other regions of our planet.
Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, stated that Ukraine's partners should increase their support. According to him, we must be honest: the path to peace lies through increasing support. Only by defeating Russia on the battlefield can we achieve a lasting peace.
