Russian forces attacked Vilniansk in the Zaporizhzhia region overnight on February 10 using drones. Civilians were injured, including a one-year-old child, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS).

''Russian drones attacked settlements in the Zaporizhzhia district overnight. The strikes caused fires at several locations, with residential houses burning. Nearby buildings were damaged by blast waves,'' the State Emergency Service of Ukraine said.

It is reported that at one address, rescuers freed two women and two children aged 1 and 10 by opening doors damaged by the explosion.

Head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov also confirmed the attack on the Zaporizhzhia district.

''Russians attacked Vilniansk with drones. Private houses and outbuildings were damaged. Two women, one man, and a boy who is not yet two years old were injured,'' Fedorov stressed.

Russian strikes on Zaporizhzhia and the region

Russian forces attack Zaporizhzhia and settlements across the region daily, using various types of drones. On February 8, Russian forces carried out 577 strikes on the region and launched 297 drones of different types at populated areas.

In addition, on February 5, the enemy carried out targeted attacks on Zaporizhzhia and the region, leaving more than 53,000 consumers without electricity. The strikes damaged energy infrastructure facilities on the right bank of Zaporizhzhia and in several communities of the Zaporizhzhia district.

A drone strike on Zaporizhzhia was also reported on February 3. Two people were killed, and children were among those injured.
