One Russian missile carrier currently present in Black Sea
This morning, August 7, in the Black Sea, the presence of a Russian vessel armed with Kalibr cruise missiles has been recorded, with the aggressor country deploying it on combat duty, according to the Ukrainian Navy.
The military clarified that the vessel can carry up to four missiles.
No enemy ships are present in the Sea of Azov.
In the Mediterranean Sea, there are two enemy vessels, one of which is armed with Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 16 missiles.
The Ukrainian Navy added that within the past day, in the interests of the Russian Federation, the following transits were made through the Kerch Strait:
- Into the Black Sea – 3 vessels, 2 of which continued towards the Bosphorus Strait;
- Into the Sea of Azov – 7 vessels, none of which came from the Bosphorus Strait.
According to the Ukrainian Navy, there has been a rotation of Russian ships in the Black Sea. Currently, there is one submarine on duty, though the occupiers rarely deploy it.
No significant threats have been observed from the Sea of Azov. Following several successful strikes in the area, the Russians have drawn appropriate conclusions and have largely abandoned it.
