One of Russia's largest chemical plants attacked in Rostov region
In the Rostov region, the Kamensky Combine was under attack. This is one of the largest chemical enterprises in Russia that produces missile fuel, according to Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council's Center for Countering Disinformation.
“One of the largest chemical enterprises in Russia, the Kamensky Combine, was attacked in the Rostov region,” Kovalenko wrote.
He specified that the plant specializes in the manufacture of solid fuel components for rocket engines, in particular for multiple-launch rocket systems and intercontinental ballistic missiles.
The plant also produces explosives and ammunition components. It also produces explosives, ammunition components, and disposes of decommissioned missile systems.
Missile attack on the Rostov region
Today, on December 18, Russian officials reported missile launches targeting the region.
At the same time, videos were posted online showing traces of missiles in the sky, and explosions were heard.
The acting governor of the Rostov region, Yury Slyusar, commenting on the attack, mentioned only the damage to several buildings.
