One killed and more than 10 injured in Russian attack on Kyiv region

During the night of July 6, Russia attacked the Bucha, Vyshhorod, and Brovary districts of the Kyiv region. The strikes killed one person and injured more than 10 others, according to the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk.
One person was killed in the Bucha district of the region, while six of the ten injured were hospitalized, Kalashnyk said. All the injured are receiving the necessary medical care.
According to the official, the Russian attack damaged private homes, businesses, and other civilian infrastructure facilities. All emergency services are working at the affected sites, and efforts to eliminate the consequences of the attack are ongoing.
"Russia is once again deliberately targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure. The enemy will be held accountable for every life taken, every home destroyed, and every crime it has committed," the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration added.
What is known about the attack on the Kyiv region
The attack was part of Russia's overnight strikes on Ukraine and Kyiv on July 6. At the time of reporting, 9 people had been confirmed killed in the capital, while fires had broken out in the Podilskyi and Holosiivskyi districts.
Less than a week earlier, Russian forces also attacked the Kyiv region. Missiles and drones damaged homes in five districts of the region.
