On Sunday, February 8, Ukrainian athletes will compete at the 2026 Winter Olympics in five sports: snowboarding, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, biathlon, and luge.

Here is the full schedule of Ukraine's events.

Dancha opens the day in snowboarding

At 11:00 a.m., experienced rider Annamari Dancha will compete in the women's parallel giant slalom qualification. These are her fifth Olympic Games.

This season, the Ukrainian posted her best World Cup result, finishing fourth in Davos. To advance from qualification, she must place in the top 16 out of 32 competitors.

Shepilenko in downhill

At 12:30 p.m., Anastasiia Shepilenko will represent Ukraine in the women's downhill in alpine skiing.

Weather conditions disrupted preparations, with several training sessions canceled. Shepilenko took part in just one practice run, finishing near the bottom of the standings. This is her second Olympics — at the previous Games, she finished in the top 40.

Lisohor and Dragun in cross-country skiing

At 1:30 p.m., the men’s skiathlon (10+10 km) will take place. Ukraine will be represented by Oleksandr Lisohor and Dmytro Dragun. While not among the favorites, both athletes will aim for a strong showing against a field of 75 competitors.

Biathlon relay without the team leader

At 3:05 p.m., one of the day's key events for Ukrainian fans begins — the 4x6 km mixed biathlon relay.

Team leader Khrystyna Dmytrenko will miss the race due to illness. Coaches opted to save her for the individual events. The Ukrainian lineup includes Dmytro Pidruchnyi, Artem Mandzyn, Yuliia Horodna, and Oleksandra Merkushyna.

Norway, France, and Italy are considered the main medal contenders. A top-10 finish would be seen as a solid result for Ukraine.

Luge: women's training and men's final

In luge, the day starts with women's doubles training runs at 3:46 p.m. Olena Stetskiv and Oleksandra Mokh received the first старт number and will make their first official runs on the Cortina track.

Later in the evening, the men’s singles medals will be decided. The third run begins at 6:00 p.m., with the final at 7:30 p.m.

Ukraine will be represented by Anton Dukach and Andrii Mandzii. After two runs, both are positioned mid-table.
