Tursynov - Beleniuk - 3: 7
In the confrontation with Kyrgyzstan's Amantur Ismailov, Nasibov looked more passive in the first three minutes. The opponent managed to score 6 points for technical moves, and the Ukrainian responded with only two points.
But the second period was under Nasibov's full control. The Ukrainian wrestler managed to score one point five times and took the lead. The Ukrainian spent the final seconds confidently and did not allow Ismailov to at least equalize the situation.
Beleniuk's fight with Kazakh Nursultan Tursynov followed a similar scenario. The opponent dominated the first three minutes and took a 3-0 lead.
The Ukrainian wrestler seized the initiative in the second period. Two holds allowed Beleniuk to equalize the score. And then two more takedowns by the Tokyo Olympic champion provided a comfortable advantage and the final victory.
Nasibov will meet Azerbaijani Hasrat Jafarov in the 1/2 finals. Beleniuk will face Iranian Alireza Mohmadipiani. In addition, Ukrainian Oksana Livach will compete for the bronze medal with Japanese Yui Susaki. All fights are scheduled for Wednesday evening, August 7.
