Drones attacked a large OZON warehouse in Orenburg, causing a fire. The company subsequently evacuated employees and suspended deliveries, according to ASTRA.
Orenburg Mayor Albert Yumadilov said that several drones were allegedly shot down over the special economic zone, where industrial enterprises are located.
According to him, fragments of one of the drones fell on the territory of the OZON logistics complex. A fire broke out there and was later extinguished by emergency service workers.
In eyewitness footage analyzed by ASTRA's OSINT analysts, a fire truck can be seen heading toward the OZON warehouse.
The facility is a logistics complex in Orenburg located in the Orenburgye special economic zone. The company launched the first phase of the facility in August 2024. It covers an area of 40,000 square meters.
The company said that more than 300 employees were evacuated from the logistics center following the attack. OZON also temporarily stopped accepting deliveries at the warehouse.
Products stored at the logistics center will temporarily be hidden from the marketplace's listings.
The Orenburg logistics complex became the second OZON facility to be attacked by drones in two days.
The day before, August 22, another company warehouse in the Samara region was reportedly hit.
