Oil depot in Krasnodar Krai burns for fifth day after new explosion

In Krasnodar Krai, the Kavkazskaya oil depot has been burning for the fifth day after the attack on the night of March 19, according to local Telegram channels.
The Kavkazskaya oil depot is located in the city of Kropotkin. According to local sources, a "flash" and a fireball were seen at the site overnight. There were also reports of an explosion sound.
"This is due to the boiling of oil products — a process that occurs when oil or fuel oil burns in storage tanks. When the heated liquid layer (above 50 degrees Celsius) reaches the water layer at the bottom, the water turns into steam, causing the ejection of the burning liquid," local sources report.
The massive fire at the oil depot has been burning for the fifth day. The day before, Russian media reported that four fire trains were involved in extinguishing the blaze.
