A secondary explosion occurred at a fuel depot in Kropotkin, Krasnodar Krai, Russia, after it was previously attacked by strike drones, according to the Operational Headquarters of Krasnodar Krai and Russian public groups.

The second explosion occurred due to the depressurization of a burning tank during firefighting efforts. Petroleum products exploded, causing a spill of burning oil. Part of the raw materials affected three units of equipment and two specialists. The injured were provided with first aid.

The fire spread to another tank, increasing the total burn area to 10,000 m². A total of 456 people and 181 units of equipment are involved in firefighting efforts.

Currently, two tanks, shutoff valves, petroleum products around the tanks, and the burning oil spilled beyond the tanks due to the explosion are still on fire.
