On the night of March 19, unidentified drones attacked the city of Kropotkin in the Krasnodar Krai. Russians are reporting a fire in the area of the local oil refinery, according to Russian Telegram channels.

In particular, the Mash channel, as of 02:08 Kyiv time, reported at least three explosions in Kropotkin, with claims that the oil depot in the city was attacked. It was stated that debris fell on the premises, and only the debris itself was allegedly on fire.

Other channels also began publishing information, but they reported 5-6 explosions and reiterated the claim about a fire. However, there were no clarifications on what exactly was burning - whether it was the drone debris or the facility itself. Official information has not been released yet.

At this time, the ASTRA channel cited information from the Operational Headquarters of the Krasnodar Krai, reporting on the repelling of a drone attack in the village of Kavkazskaya in the Kavkazsky District.

"Due to falling debris, a fire broke out at an oil depot located near the village, covering an area of 20 square meters. A pipeline between the storage tanks was damaged. The automatic fire suppression and cooling system was activated. The fire was assigned a complexity level of 4, with 105 personnel and 45 units of equipment, along with special and emergency services, working at the scene," the report stated.

According to preliminary data, there are no casualties. However, 30 on-duty personnel have been evacuated.

Other sources clarify that the village of Kavkazskaya is located near Kropotkin. In the same area, the Kropotkinskaya oil pumping station of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium was disabled due to an attack on February 17, 2025.
