Odesa International Film Festival 2024: City and date announced

The 15th Odesa International Film Festival will take place on July 12-20, 2024 in Kyiv. The decision to change the venue was made due to the constant shelling of Odesa by the Russian army, according to the announcement on the official OIFF Facebook page.

In 2022, the competition programs were held as part of the Warsaw International Film Festival.
In 2023, the festival was held in Chernivtsi. Only special programs were screened in Odesa.

"Last year's OIFF was hospitably hosted by Chernivtsi, which showed a sincere admiration for Ukrainian culture and art. Next year, we will bring the Odesa International Film Festival to Kyiv, where we expect an equally warm welcome from the capital's moviegoers and connoisseurs of high-quality art films," says Anna Machukh, OIFF Director General, as quoted by Ukrainska Pravda.
The Odesa International Film Festival team has also opened a call for applications for participation in the competition programs: National and International European.

It will be open from December 19, 2023, to May 1, 2024.
To apply, you must fill out an online form on the official website of the film festival and provide all the materials specified in the online form.
