Late in the evening on November 21, the occupied Donetsk region experienced power problems again. This happened against the backdrop of an attack by unidentified drones, according to local Telegram channels.

Starting at around 21:20, local public channels began reporting that it was very noisy in the occupied part of the Donetsk region. At least over Makiivka, unidentified drones were spotted.

Just 30 minutes later, information appeared in Telegram channels that in occupied Donetsk, Makiivka, Horlivka, Yenakiieve, Khartsyzk, Yasynuvata, and other settlements, power was partially out.

Blackout in the occupied Donetsk region

This is not the first time the occupied Donetsk region has been left without electricity.

For example, a large-scale blackout occurred on the night of November 18, when unknown drones attacked two thermal power plants - the Zuivska and Starobesheve TPPs. That night, at least Donetsk, Makiivka, and Ilovaisk were left without power.

Moreover, by the evening, it became known that the authorities of the occupied part of the Donetsk region had declared a state of emergency due to the situation. They claimed that such a regime would supposedly allow them to respond more quickly and deal with the situation.
