On the night of August 20, explosions were heard in Sevastopol, after which parts of Crimea were left without power. Crimean authorities have not yet commented on the situation, according to the partisan movement ATESH.

According to the movement, explosions were heard in Sevastopol overnight. Following this, the electricity supply was cut off in several cities.

Explosions were also recorded near the thermal power plant (TPP) in Simferopol. As of now, it is known that there is no electricity in Sevastopol, Simferopol, and Dzhankoi.

What is known about Ukraine's attacks on the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea

A few days ago, Ukrainian forces struck storage, preparation, and control facilities for strike drones, as well as a command post in Crimea and the Kherson region. These include Hvardiiske, Novofedorivka, and Olenivka.

Earlier that week, drones caused a blackout in Sevastopol. A special regime was imposed at energy facilities, and internet connectivity issues began.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to systematically destroy enemy infrastructure in the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea and neighboring areas, not only in Russia's rear. On the night of August 12, in Novorossiysk, following a massive drone attack, probable strikes on Russian military vessels, a grain terminal, and an oil terminal were recorded.
