The Russian army attacked Zaporizhzhia on the night of October 15. The occupiers launched missiles, presumably S-300, according to the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.

As the local authorities note, the occupiers launched three missile strikes during the night. In a comment to Suspilne, the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration specified that the Russians used three S-300 surface-to-air missiles on the outskirts of the city.

Due to the Russian shelling, some infrastructure objects were partially destroyed, and a fire broke out.

Anatolii Kurtiev, the Secretary of the Zaporizhzhia City Council, added that after the attack, reports of window damage started coming in from the residents. According to him, by morning, the damages had already been addressed.

A part of the Zaporizhzhia region is occupied by Russian invaders. This concerns the territories along the coast of the Azov Sea, including the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.

Active fighting is taking place in the Zaporizhzhia region, and the occupiers daily shell residential areas on the frontlines and in the rear areas.
