Nutritionist names fruit that boosts libido and slows down aging

Mango is the most delicious exotic fruit. The fruit is famous as a natural aphrodisiac and is a real storehouse of nutrients valuable for the body, says Ukrainian nutritionist Natalia Samoylenko.
What are the benefits of mango
Strengthens the immune system
Mango contains vitamin C, provitamin A, and more than 25 carotenoids that support the immune system. Its bright color is a good marker of high beta-carotene content.
Protects against cell damage
According to the expert, mangoes are rich in antioxidants, particularly mangiferin, a powerful compound often called a "super antioxidant."
The fruit neutralizes free radicals, reduces inflammation, and protects cells from damage. Studies show that mangiferin may have anti-cancer and cardioprotective properties.
In addition, mangoes are an excellent source of vitamin C - one fruit can provide up to 60% of the daily requirement.
Vitamin C promotes collagen production, improves iron absorption, and neutralizes free radicals, slowing down cellular aging.
Protects the heart and blood vessels
The fruit contains substances, including fiber, magnesium, and potassium, which help reduce bad cholesterol and regulate blood pressure.
A natural aphrodisiac
Mango is often called the "fruit of love". That's because it contains vitamin E and beta-carotene, which help increase libido and improve sperm quality in men.
These nutrients support hormonal balance and overall reproductive health.
Supports brain function
Mangoes contain glutamic acid, a neurotransmitter that helps improve concentration, thinking speed, and memory. The high content of vitamin B6 supports the nervous system, helping to reduce fatigue and stress levels.
Aids in digestion
The enzymes contained in mangoes help break down proteins, improving their absorption, while dietary fiber prevents constipation and supports intestinal microflora.
Benefit for the eyes
One medium mango provides up to 15% of the daily value of vitamin A, which is essential for maintaining retinal health and helping the eyes adapt to the dark.
Lutein and zeaxanthin act as a "natural sunscreen" by absorbing excess light.
Who should not eat mangoes
You should refrain from mangoes in case of digestive disorders and diarrhea (the laxative effect of the fruit will aggravate the problems), diseases of the pancreas (pancreatitis), acute inflammation of the stomach (gastritis) or liver (hepatitis).
Earlier, we reported on the fruit that should never be eaten with a headache.
