The number of people injured in the attack on Zaporizhzhia on January 23 exceeded 50. A man was killed in the night attack, according to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov on Telegram.

According to Fedorov, as of 03:30 PM Kyiv time, the number of wounded as a result of the hostile attack on Zaporizhzhia has increased to 51. At the same time, people continue to seek medical assistance.

"There are currently 22 people in hospitals in the regional center. The rest are being treated on an outpatient basis," said the head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.

It is also known that a 47-year-old man died as a result of the attack on Zaporizhzhia.

Night attack on Zaporizhzhia

On the night of January 23, the Russian army launched a double attack on Zaporizhzhia. Enemy drones destroyed a power facility, leaving more than 20,000 customers without electricity. Critical infrastructure facilities such as boiler houses, healthcare, and social security institutions were cut off.

The Russian forces also attacked Zaporizhzhia with ballistic missiles. One of them destroyed a two-story apartment block. In addition, the territory and premises of an industrial facility, multi-story buildings, and private homes were damaged.

The strike killed a 47-year-old man and injured more than 50 people.

A two-month-old baby and four rescuers are known to be among the injured.
