Number of injured in Kyiv rises due to Shahed drone attack
In Kyiv, as a result of a Russian air attack using combat drones in the early hours of November 7, two people have been reported injured, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA).
According to the head of the KCMA, Serhii Popko, the consequences of the Russian drone strike on the capital are being recorded in six districts.
"Two people have been injured," the official reported.
However, it was not specified in which exact district of Kyiv the second person was injured, as it had previously been reported that one person was wounded in the Solomianskyi district.
Later, the administration informed that the sixth district, where the consequences of Russian UAV debris falling were also observed, was the Darnytskyi district.
Fragments of the Russian drone fell in an open area there. No fire or casualties were reported in this district.
Night drone attack on Kyiv
Earlier, it was reported that another targeted attack by Russian invaders using "Shaheds" began last night. The strike drones, including the Shaheds, were heading towards Kyiv. After midnight, an air raid alert was declared in the capital, with the all-clear only given around eight in the morning.
Additionally, during the night, information emerged about the work of air defense in Kyiv, with a series of explosions heard throughout the city.
Around 2 a.m. Kyiv time, the city authorities reported the consequences of the Shahed attack in the Holosiivskyi district, where fragments of enemy UAVs fell, causing a fire.
By morning, the consequences of the Russian airstrike on Kyiv were clarified, with debris falling in several districts. Further details and photos from the fire sites will be covered in a separate RBC-Ukraine report.
