US President Donald Trump stated that World War III is "not that far away." However, Trump assures that this will not happen during his presidency in his speech at the Future Investment Initiative Institute summit in Miami.

In particular, the US President pointed to ongoing conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine, emphasizing that he is "going to put an end to this."

"Around the world, I am quickly moving toward ending wars, resolving conflicts, and restoring peace on the planet - I want peace, and I don’t want to see ... everyone getting killed," Trump said.

The US President also stated that World War III is "not that far away." However, he assured that he would not allow a global war to occur.

"World War III benefits no one, and you are not that far away from it - I’ll tell you right now, you’re not that far away. If we had the (Biden - ed.) administration for one more year, you would be in World War III, but now it’s not going to happen," Trump said.

Trump-Zelenskyy conflict

US and Russian representatives recently held negotiations in Saudi Arabia. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine does not recognize negotiations conducted behind its back.

Following this, Trump made several sharp statements against Zelenskyy. In particular, he claimed that the Ukrainian President’s approval rating among citizens is allegedly only 4%.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the claim of a supposed 4% approval rating originates from Russia. He criticized Trump for repeating Russian disinformation.

After Trump’s statement, the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology published a fresh approval rating, showing that 57% of Ukrainians trust Zelenskyy.

In addition, the US President expressed dissatisfaction over the lack of elections in Ukraine and, because of this, called Zelenskyy a "dictator without elections.
