Norwegian blogger Kjetil Krogstad, known for his dance videos, has recorded an unusual message of support for Ukraine. He danced to Jerry Heil's music near the Norwegian-Russian border and dedicated the video to Ukrainians. The singer has already responded.
RBC-Ukraine, citing a post on the blogger's Instagram page, explains what the Norwegian wrote and how the singer reacted.
How Norwegian blogger commented on his gesture
Krogstad posted footage of himself performing an energetic dance to a Jerry Heil song against the backdrop of the border area between Norway and Russia. He chose this symbolic gesture to show his support for Ukraine.
"Russia told the world to leave Kyiv. Norway's ambassador and others said, "We stay." Even though bombs fell. They stay. We dance. We turn up the volume. 12 points to Ukraine from the Norway-Russia border. You're not alone!" the blogger wrote.
The reference to 12 points alludes to the Eurovision Song Contest scoring system, where the highest score traditionally represents the strongest support for a contestant. In this way, Krogstad sent Ukrainians a symbolic message of solidarity.
How Jerry Heil reacted to video
Singer Jerry Heil noticed the post and thanked the Norwegian for his support.
"Not you literally dancing on the edge of civilization. Thank you again and again," she wrote.

Blogger's support for Ukraine in the past
Notably, this isn't the first time Kjetil Krogstad has publicly supported Ukraine through his creative work.
In particular, in 2025, the Norwegian blogger filmed a dance video with performers from the Grand Kyiv Ballet to Jerry Heil's song "12 Points." He said the video garnered nearly two million views, many of them from Ukrainians.
Krogstad also said he received messages of gratitude, with people writing that the video helped them cope emotionally during a difficult time.
